Mental health matters

Mental health is fundamental to our overall well-being and our mental state which influences our behavior.

Being mentally healthy can help with our ability to handle stress, form relationships, make decisions, work productively, and simply enjoy life, which has a direct impact on our physical health, quality of life and potential to contribute positively to our communities. It serves as a foundation for emotional, psychological and social health.

Attitudinal Healing

Attitudinal Healing is based on the principle that it is not other people or situations that upset us. Rather, it is our own thoughts and attitudes about those things that are responsible for our distress. Healing occurs when we focus on changing our own attitudes rather than trying to change the attitudes of others.

The goal of Attitudinal Healing is self-healing in the face of every life challenge. The approach and philosophy are based on universal principles and forgiveness. People of all ages, beliefs, walks of life and cultures support and benefit from the practice of Attitudinal Healing. The goal is not to change behavior, but to train the most powerful tool of change we possess, our own mind.

In 2005, the founder of Attitudinal Healing International, Dr. Gerald Jampolsky, was awarded the prestigious ‘American Medical Association's Excellence in Medicine Award - Pride in the Profession Award’ for this pioneering work and his contribution to the field of mental health.
